Here are some additional tips to prep for your shoot:

• Cleanse your skin twice daily. Choose a cleanser appropriate for your skin type and wash your face in the morning and evening to remove dirt, excess oil, and other impurities.
• Always wear sunscreen. Protecting your skin from the sun is a must, even if it’s cool and cloudy outside. Go with at least SPF 30 to get the most protection.
• Use plenty of moisturizer. Keep your skin healthy and hydrated by applying moisturizer after cleansing your skin twice daily in the morning and evening.
• Start using products that can help reduce the signs of aging. Including an anti aging cream in your daily skincare regimen can help reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles.
• Exfoliate your skin 1 to 3 times weekly. Exfoliation helps remove dead skin cells from the surface of the skin that can dull your skin tone and complexion.
• Take care of unwanted body hair. Lighting can emphasize unwanted hair, so pay a visit to the salon to take care of unwanted facial hair and to give your eyebrows a trim.
• Wash your hair the day before. To avoid looking greasy or flaky during your photoshoot, wash your hair the day before and consider using a volumizing mousse when you blow it dry.
• Pick the perfect nail polish. Treat yourself to a manicure and pick a nail polish color that matches your choice of lingerie or stick with a classic like a French manicure.
• Think about what shoes to wear. If you’re not going to be wearing heels during the shoot, be sure to exfoliate the bottoms of your feet. Otherwise, pick a sexy pair of heels to match.
