Why colorful lingerie is the new sexy black, bridal white and staple nude

A far cry from traditional attire, it appears that lingerie has got a splash of color of late, with shades of cobalt, dusky rose and baby pink adorning and dominating the underwear scene.
Lingerie has come a long way, and it would appear that all these vibrant shades of reds, blues and pinks appear to be overtaking the traditional black lace, bridal white and simplistic nudes we all hoard. With the addition of these pretty, bold and creative lingerie pieces beginning to overtake the market.
Take the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show as an example; it is a globally renowned event simply bursting with a carousel of color along its star-studded catwalk. It is a simple notion really; underwear has evolved, with new colours and decorative patterns being the top of everyone’s want list.
Even the sacred world of bridal lingerie has made some serious changes; no longer do delicate hues of white, ivory and cream dominate the most special day of your life, you can flaunt whichever fashionable lingerie you desire.
Black lingerie is known as a staple, often closely followed by a few pieces of sultry red in a variety of styles. However, these bright shades of lingerie prove to compliment any skin tone, adding a pop of colour helps to add to a glowing complexion and leaves you bursting with confidence – let’s be honest, it makes us feel very bright and flirty.

It has become apparent that lingerie has become inspired by natures color, taking influence from the elements, floral tones and the evolution of fashion. It looks like it is time to step out of our comfort zone, and welcome a rainbow of lingerie into our lives.
Musotica welcomes you to get your colourful lingerie fix with a collection of dazzling shades, luxury patterns and a host of styles of lingerie, just perfect to get your wardrobe ready for long summer days, and even longer summer nights…

What do Musotica and the Grammys, Golden Globes and Oscars have in common? Lingerie of course!

It is that time of the year we celebrate America’s greats, the great singers, actresses and performers of the Grammys, Golden Globes and Oscars and even the sporting greats of the oh so celebrated half-time show and celebrity spectators of the Super Bowl.
This year, it became apparent that everything got a little sexier, with lingerie, club wear and cosplay-esque dresses and outfits hitting the red carpets, Super Bowl after parties and major events of the USA in abundance - we couldn’t be happier here at Musotica.
Lingerie inspirations have become apparent with red carpets and parties showcasing outfits adorned with floral lace, sheer lingerie overlays and metallics galore - and a whole lot of yellow, we were surprised too.
Club wear influences have been prominent throughout these spectacular events, with masses of metallics, sheer overlays, and embellishment gracing the star-studded events and red carpets.
Golden metallics and beautiful embellishment appear to have taken centre stage and have been seen on the likes of expecting Beyonce with her stand-out golden outfit at the Grammys and Oscar winner Emma Stone’s jaw-dropping embellished and metallic gold number at the Oscars.
It seems club wear inspired gowns are here to stay as Nicole Kidman sauntered by in a nude and embellished gown. Whereas Charlize Theron spiced up her metallic Dior gown with sheer black overlay at the Oscars making for a winning combination - we couldn’t be more delighted here at Musotica, we just love combining sexy fabrics.
You too can dazzle in the latest trends with Musotica, we guarantee we have a celebrity influenced style to suit you. Spice up your evening with club wear dresses, tease in seductive sheer lingerie and floral lace overlays and wow in an array of two-tone outfits.
We’ve spotted these winning combinations at the Oscars, seen on Halle Berry in a gold and black sheer overlay gown, while cut outs also made an appearance with Naomie Harris’s simplistic white dress. However, it was Salma Hayek, who truly stole the show in a sultry mix of nude gown with sheer panels and stunning black lace overlay, finished with ruffle detailing.
Even the boys are in on the latest lingerie trends, with Ryan Gosling spicing up the basics with a monochrome ruffled shirt, the black detailing adding a little bit of edge to his suave suit as he graced the red carpet at the Oscars.
Whatever Grammy, Golden Globe or Academy Award style you adored, here at Musotica, we are guaranteed to have ‘award-winning’ club wear, sexy lingerie or quirky cosplay costumes to suit you - we were founded by a celebrity stylist after all.
